I've been doubting my photography lately. Second guessing myself. Being frustrated with what other people want me to do for them. So these pictures make me laugh. I like them...together. They remind me why I love photography.
You may have to do a little of what other people want from you (especially if they're actually paying) but you can still do what you want. And I have to say what you do is fantastic!
Don't doubt yourself. I love that your photos are about the subject itself. AND you didn't just wake up one morning, buy an expensive camera and decide to be a ("professional") photographer. You actually know what you are doing, worked hard for that knowledge, and rock at it. And you may have to compromise a little but if I ever see you taking engagement shots of people on a bale of hay in matching plaid I will cry!

Stay true to yourself. YOU are the one with the education and you are the one with the eye :) Follow your gut.
