My Life.

Is extremely ironic. It still surprises me sometimes how ironic it is. Today Adrian and I went to Idaho Falls to sign a contract with Qwest for better internet. We were standing at the kiosk (located in the middle of the mall) waiting our turn. Finally in the middle of deciding what we want and paying, Lewis and Paddy walk by. I am so sure, I would be the one to run into Lewis and Paddy on a Saturday in the middle of a mall. What are the chances? For me pretty high. Apparently Paddy was unhappy with the current bras she owned. My cousin told them that they should go to Victoria Secrets.

Ok a side note. Who tells a 75 year old woman to go to Victoria Secrets? Exactly. But naturally, it would be me that would have to deal with this issue. This is one thing I always hated about growing up. My family being the family that lived closest to both sets of grandparents would always have to deal with extended family coming to visit, thinking they're helping, but then have to deal with the issues after they left. Maybe it helps their guilt for pawning their parents onto my parents and family? Like trying to sign my 90 year old grandma up for Facebook. Yeah, that's what we have to deal with.

Anyway, back to Paddy and Victoria. I saved Lewis from having to be out numbered there and let him visit Adrian while we were finishing up with Qwest. Not only do 75 year old women not belong in Victoria Secrets, but Laura's don't belong there either. I don't like how they're decorated and I don't like the creepy men that go in there looking for who knows what for who knows who. I took one for the team. Anyway, can you imagine that she didn't like anything they had there. You know why, grandma's aren't supposed to wear lace covered push up bras.

Long story short we found what she needed at Penny's. Adrian and Lewis discussed sea food and women's shopping habits. And I was grateful for the changing room stall where no one could see my face while Paddy talked way too loud about how saggy her boobs were.

Moral of this story. I'm not even sure, but I'm sure we could learn something from this.

Fact:

This is Jessica.
I think she is beautiful.
And nice.
I wish I had a website ready so I could put this photograph on it.
A website is the goal of August.
When Adrian is done with the semester.
I hate MNO Wireless.
I usually make Adrian deal with them.
Or else someone will get told where to go.
The UPS man knows my name now.
He's a nice man.
I love photography.
It's always on my mind.
I probably bore people talking about it.
Went to Enrichment Night tonight.
Talked about provident living and food storage.
People talked about getting creative where you store your food in our small apartments.
Examples:
Cupboard above fridge...ours is full of ceramic pots made by me and Adrian.
In the closet...I have a sewing machine and table in the back of my half of the closet.
Under the bed...under our bed is lots of art supplies. Including $400 worth of paint.
I guess Adrian and I could always eat paint if we get hungry.
We'll stay away from the Cadmiums though, them being the most toxic.
Oh yes, I'm typing this on our new computer.
Sitting at our new desk.
Both very pretty.
We have a money tree on our desk.
Also know as a jade plant.
I like John Denver.
No love him.
I remember the day he died.
Same day my mom got pulled over for speeding.
I though we were going to jail.
John Denver looks like my uncle.
I might start a documentary photography project of my own.
If I could go to school again, I would go into graphic design, or horticulture again, or botany.
I want to be a florist.
Mostly.
I would talk to my plants.
I do anyway.
I'm not crazy.
Maybe a bit.
I'm not crazy, other people are just boring.
I like happy people.
I know my Heavenly Father loves me.
He has given me color.
Rain.
Quiet Breezy nights.
Clouds.
Sunshine.
Sounds.
He loves Adrian too.
He gave Adrian me.

The Jankowski's.

Jessica and Marcus helped me out this last weekend. I wanted some more practice with couples. They are very easy going and so hilarious. Thanks guys.

This is Why I Love Lew.

When he's driving he yells at people.
Yells things like:
"Get going, Grandma!"
or
"Move it, Grandma!"
Mind you, Lew is 78.

These kidletts are funny.
Cleaned out the bedroom closet today.
It felt good.
To be done.
Sewing machine fits perfectly in it.
I am a Master Packer.
Right after Jason.
Lewis and Paddy went to a funeral today.
I didn't.
I like white on white.
Or cream on white.
Or just cream.
Or just cream on pie.
But not strawberry rhubarb.
Which is my favorite.
For Adrian's birthday we went and saw
How to Train your Dragon. His pick.
Adorable.
Loved it.
We also watched Sherlock Holmes this weekend.
Loved it too.
I don't have to teach next week.
Ward Conference.
Thank goodness.
I hate when my fingernails get too long
Gross.
I want to name a kid Marcellus.
Adrian and I have been eating bananas like they are free.
Potatoes too.
I'm not a fan of ART 335.
I have flat feet.
Very flat feet.
I've never been a slipper wearer.
I'm not sure the tradition of girls not having a middle name
is a good one.
If I could pick my middle name, it would be Beth.
Not because of Little Women.
Although Beth was always the kindest and most thoughtful.
Jo was my favorite, naturally.
With her fieriness and wit, with a bit of tom boyishness.
Also, because of her love of travel and the arts.
I still want a kitten.

When I First Get a Batch.

Of photographs, I always have my automatic favorite. But when I edit them and am looking at them closer I always have more favorites that grow on me. This is one of them.

Since.

This isn't my holiday and my opinions don't count. If they didn't count this is how I would do Ernesta Week.

Monday: Cottage Cheese and Pineapple.
Tuesday: Grilled Chicken Salad.
Wednesday: Stir Fry.
Thursday: Zucchini, Squash, Onions and Tomatoes with Cottage Cheese.
Friday: Pizza. 'Cause pizza and Fridays do go together.

You know just something with some color, some freshness.

Today.

Maggie and I got to bumb around together. We had fun. We ate Cheerios. Listened to the Beatles. Took pictures. Napped. It was a good day. The last photograph is not a cry. More of a squawk. We were singing along to the Beatles ok.

That I enjoy editing little sticky boogers and milk moustache better than zits and other big people things.

This is Adrianne and Corey.
I've spent a lot of time with them today.
Their photographs anyway.
I want to be an awesome photographer.
No, an epic photographer.
My computer is too magenta.
It drives me nuts.
Too blue too I think.
I think photographers that use film are neat.
I don't think photographers that use film as a gimmick are neat.
I want to follow Joselyn around when she takes photographs.
I think she's awesome.
I'm not a creeper.
Just an admirer.
Our apartment is a sauna.
I don't like sock fuzzies between your toes.
Lewis is one of my favorite people.
I hate waiting for people.
Dried mangos are enjoyable.
I feel lonely when I go to church.
If I have to hear about how great the Dutch are everyday,
Then Adrian can listen to Enya.
She's my roots.
Adrian turns 25 this week.
He doesn't look it.
A girl in our ward thought he was 19.
Oops.
I need to remember to take my reflector to Washington.
Our sticky note collection on the fridge has gone down considerably.
I am an awkward person.
The next lesson I teach in Relief Society is about the Atonement.
You can't crack jokes during that type of lesson.
I have grown fond of Robin's Egg Blue.
I have absolutely enjoyed the rain for a month straight.
I love the way it smells.
The way it feels on your face.
The sound it makes.
I think growing up listening to a farmer dad always complain about the weather,
I've become just happy with whatever I get.
Adrian thought our fridge smelled like beer the other day.
Shamrocks are whimsical.
I'm listening to Enya.
Adrian walked in and made fun of me.
