Good Bye 57th Ward.
Yesterday was my last Sunday in the ward I've been in for a year and a half. I wasn't the only one that yesterday was their last sunday. Many friends are graduating, getting married, or going on missions. During the summer the bishopric is expected to be replaced. So what I'm saying is the whole dynamics of the ward I know will change and be completely different. Many people expressed how they're sad to leave and do the next thing. Which I may feel a little bit the same. However, a bigger part of me is so relieved and excited to be out of the meat market. So, so long BYUI 57th Ward...I wish you luck and success.

Grandma's House.
So here's some photos taken with a holga camera using medium format film It's ok that you don't get it. I like it anyway! They are really blurry....I think it's because of the camera I was using...it's a really really old holga and the button sticks. But I have my own now...so problem should be solved. I'm sure you'll see more later.

Provo or Bust.
On the way to Provo was an exciting one.
As you can see...the back seat was pretty squished. We all got a bit restless. Bobby entertained us however.

This was his first attempt at sticking his head out the window. He was pretty bored I guess!

Then Adrian and Bobby dared each other to both stick their arms outside of the window. Brandon participated by speeding up the car to...a bit faster. Five miles was the stopping point...they both barely made it. When they pulled their arms back in Bobby couldn't even move his fingers. Silly boys.

Travel Log.
Ok. Here's some pictures from San Francisco and the journey there:
This was our first night on the road. We stayed in Reno, Nevada. I got to see Chad and Amanda that was nice.

In Reno we stopped at the Nevada Museum of Art. It was a pretty good little museum. They had a bunch of cowboy paintings and pieces, also a whole floor dedicated to the American Flag. Pretty neat. They also had really cool modern pieces. This was one. It was a play house looking type structure made out of mirrors and windows.
On our way to San Fran, we also stopped in Sacrament at another museum: The Crocker. It was owned by a lady who's last name was Crocker and after her husband died in the late 1800's she donated her house to the city. This building had such beautiful architecture.

We FINALLY made it to San Francisco! One of the first things we did was to go to Pier 39. These are sea lions...they were hilarious to watch.

Also on Pier 39 there is an aquarium. It's not a very good one.

One of the major museums we went to in San Francisco was the De Young. It was a very impressive museum. This is on the very top floor of the De Young looking out on the city. We were up on top during sunset, it was gorgeous.

This is the Muir Forest full of Red Wood Trees. I thought they were bigger. Oh well still fun.

Golden Gate.

I HAD to pinch it. I HAD to!

The Last 5 Days Have Taught Me:
1. Never ever ever live in Reno.
2. Visit San Francisco and Sacramento as much as possible.
3. I'm glad who I am and what I know.
4. Yes, 3 hours in a van is my breaking point.
5. Insanity certainly sets in after 13 hours in a van.
6. 3 men have to stop and go to the bathroom a lot more than 8 girls do.
7. Even though sometimes I buy impulsively, I still spend my money a lot smarter than others.
8. I was the youngest one to go to San Fran.
9. Brother Atkinson's favorite color is purple...weird.
10. Brother Clark is funny.
11. Brother Atkinson tries hard to be funny.
12. Lauras I guess have more personality than other people....there were 3 out of 8 girls named Laura that went.
13. That even though someone can be still going to school, 27, and have 4 kids, they can still be very immature and selfish.
14. Photography is my favorite art form...still.
15. How much I really do like Idaho.
16. How much I enjoy the sunshine.
17. How much I take for granted the people that know me best.
18. How much from Idaho I don't look.
19. How much from Idaho I still act.
20. I like to have fun and go and see, but I'm glad to be back.
