Sunday Morning Boredom.
Just something for you to look at. These were from an assignment from color photography. We were instructed to just go out and take a walk and take pictures that made us happy. We did this to see what our color pallet was...what we're drawn to more. I guess this shows I'm subtle...I don't know. Or maybe that I'm not kitchy with overly bright saturated colors....I really have no idea. Oh well.

AH HA.
So yesterday I had a light bulb moment about a setting on my camera. I discovered this helpful tidbit when I was taking a picture of a light bulb. Ironic I think. Any way I learned two good things from this photo. 1. a need to know setting on my camera. 2. don't stare at a light bulb too long through your camera and try to focus on it.

Sunflowers.
So this is my first watercolor painting ever. Is it the best thing I've done...no. Do I think it's ok for being my first ever attempt at watercolor...yes. I hope that I will continue to get better. I learned doing this though that it is something I really enjoy...I find it relaxing...so I will probably continue to do it.

Question to All.
So here's the deal. For my color photography class we have to do this assignment called the Monet Project. What we have to do is find a location and take pictures of that same location throughout the semester. We have to take different pictures in different lighting different weather and different seasons. This is going to help us learn more about lighting and season change so we can better achieve what we want when we take other pictures. Does this make sense? Ok. So here are some different locations. My teacher explained that it doesn't have to be an amazing location just one that is easily accessed and that change will be able to be noticed through out the series of photos. None of these photos are anywhere near exciting...they're all too naturey! But just let me know which one you like...quickly! Thanks!
