Travel Log.

Ok. Here's some pictures from San Francisco and the journey there:

This was our first night on the road. We stayed in Reno, Nevada. I got to see Chad and Amanda that was nice.

In Reno we stopped at the Nevada Museum of Art. It was a pretty good little museum. They had a bunch of cowboy paintings and pieces, also a whole floor dedicated to the American Flag. Pretty neat. They also had really cool modern pieces. This was one. It was a play house looking type structure made out of mirrors and windows.

On our way to San Fran, we also stopped in Sacrament at another museum: The Crocker. It was owned by a lady who's last name was Crocker and after her husband died in the late 1800's she donated her house to the city. This building had such beautiful architecture.

We FINALLY made it to San Francisco! One of the first things we did was to go to Pier 39. These are sea lions...they were hilarious to watch.

Also on Pier 39 there is an aquarium. It's not a very good one.

One of the major museums we went to in San Francisco was the De Young. It was a very impressive museum. This is on the very top floor of the De Young looking out on the city. We were up on top during sunset, it was gorgeous.

This is the Muir Forest full of Red Wood Trees. I thought they were bigger. Oh well still fun.

Golden Gate.

I HAD to pinch it. I HAD to!

Just how often does a girl get to pinch the Golden Gate Bridge?
