I have a love hate relationship with my studio lighting class. I have no desire to do studio photography but technically I have learned a lot which will make me a better photographer. However, the other day our teacher told us that it is our responsibility not only as photographers but also just as human beings to find the beauty in everyone. She said that she had never seen an ugly person. I don't think I was ever too critical but I'm taking this as a challenge to really step up and find the beauty in everyone. How Sister Brown said it was more inspiring, oh well.
"I see and admire beauty in people...I am no concerned whether the skin be fair or dark. I have seen beautiful people in all the scores of nations through which I have walked. Little children are beautiful everywhere. And so are the aged, whose winkled hands and faces speak of struggle and survival." President Gordon B. Hinckley
